Start with the change you need to make.

Different amendments require different decisions and documents. A new director, a share transfer and a change of address should each be checked against the company’s current records. We establish the intended outcome and signing arrangements before preparing the agreed application package.

When to speak to us

  • A director is joining or leaving the company.
  • The ownership structure, company name or articles need attention.
  • Your company’s registered details need to match its current arrangements.

Corporate changes we can help you assess

Management board changes

We review the appointment or removal to be recorded, the relevant company decision and the details of the people involved. Representation rights and signing requirements are checked for the proposed change.

Shareholder and ownership changes

We assess the current ownership records and the intended transaction. Share transfers may involve formal requirements or notarial steps; the appropriate route is confirmed for the company.

Company name and articles

A proposed name change or amendment to the articles needs a consistent set of decisions and application details. We identify the documents and signatures required for the agreed amendment.

Registered company information

Address, contact details, financial year or other updates can be reviewed as part of the request. Beneficial-owner information is considered separately where an ownership or control change makes it relevant.

From your request to the agreed filing steps

Your proposal sets out the work to be completed, the information needed and the responsibilities of the people involved.

1. Describe the intended change

Send the company registry code and explain what should change. Include the relevant people, target date and any related transaction.

2. Review the company records

We check the current registry information, relevant articles and available documents. This establishes the decision, signing and filing route to assess.

3. Prepare the agreed documents

We coordinate the specified resolutions, application information and any additional document requests. Notarial or external legal work is identified where required.

4. Complete signing and submission

The authorised people sign and the agreed application is submitted through the appropriate route. Any registry query is reviewed within the scope of the engagement.

A useful brief for your company amendment

Tell us the intended result before sending identity documents. Your manager will confirm the identification and document-delivery process appropriate to the work.

  • Company name and registry code
  • Description of the change and the intended effective date
  • Current articles of association and relevant company decisions
  • Details of shareholders, directors or representatives involved
  • Information about available digital-signing methods
  • Any existing agreements, registry notices or notarial requirements

Changes to company records can also affect bank records, access permissions and contracts. Include any connected updates in the brief so their scope can be agreed.

One proposal for the amendment you actually need.

The fee depends on the changes, document preparation, signing route and any representation required. We confirm the service scope and distinguish our fees from state, notarial, translation or legal costs where applicable. Complex transactions may need additional specialist advice.

A straightforward registry amendment and a negotiated share transaction have different scopes. We assess the request before quoting a timetable or a fixed price.

Frequently asked questions

Can company details be changed online?

The e-Business Register supports amendment applications, and RIK provides pre-filled documents for certain OÜ changes. Availability depends on the amendment and signing arrangements; some cases need a different document or notarial route.

Is a notary always needed for a share transfer?

The formal requirements depend on the company and transaction. We review the current records and articles before confirming the signing route and any notarial involvement.

Can several changes be handled together?

Tell us all the intended changes at the start. We assess which items can be coordinated and whether they require separate decisions, applications or external work.

Does changing the address also change the contact-person service?

A registry amendment and an ongoing address or contact-person agreement are separate arrangements. If you need that service, we link the work to the appropriate existing service plan.

How long will a company amendment take?

Preparation depends on the documents and signatures available. Registry processing and any request for additional information also affect completion. We give a case-specific estimate after reviewing the amendment.
