It ONLY allows you to digitally sign documents and manage an Estonian company remotely.
No, you don’t need to visit Estonia to apply for or use e-Residency. The entire process — from submitting your application to managing your Estonian company — can be done 100% online. However, you’ll need to pick up your e-Residency card in person at your chosen pickup location (usually an Estonian embassy or consulate). Visiting Estonia is optional but can be useful if you want to open a traditional bank account or meet local partners.
